Players Peter, Josh, Jack and Gerard were interviewed on Starlight TV and asked some tough questions – like ‘What do you eat when you’re a football player?’ Then there was a Goliath arm wrestling challenge, won by Peter. 

The highlight of the afternoon was watching Captain Starlight, who believed himself to be the best arm wrestler in the world, challenge Peter. Unfortunately for Captain Starlight Peter won, but Captain took it well and decided he needed to practice a bit more. All three Captains challenged Josh – check out the photo!

There was one 8yr old boy who was waiting excitedly to meet his football idols, but then was called upstairs to be standing by for a major heart operation. He was very upset and disappointed. So all four players went upstairs to his room and spent some time with him and it was wonderful to see his face light up as he clutched his poster. The visit changed his scary wait for the doctors into a wonderful memory. Thanks Broncos!

The Broncos stayed for a couple of hours meeting fans, signing posters and posing for photos.
